Harlingen police execute warrant and arresting three individuals
HARLNGEN — Law enforcement officers arrested three men during a raid on a Harlingen home.
On Thursday, April 10th at about 12 p.m. members of the Harlingen PD Special Investigations Unit and the U.S. Marshal Service executed an arrest warrant for two wanted gang members on the 1100 block of North 26th Street.
Law enforcement officials did locate and arrest the two wanted men as well as a third individual who ran out the back door of the home in an attempt to destroy a glass jar containing cocaine.
The three men, identified as Cesar Herrera, 23, David Jimenez, 18, and Manuel Cuellar, 31 were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Additional Herrera was charged with tampering with evidence, Jimenez had a warrant for evading arrest with a vehicle and Cuellar had a warrant from another agency.
Herrera was handed a bond of $50,000, Jimenez with a $45,000 bond and Cuellar with a bond of $21,000.
