Harlingen Police Continue Manhunt for Suspect

New details were released on the manhunt by Harlingen police for a man accused of assault.

Police say that 27 year-old James Matthew Solis assaulted his common law wife causing injury to her elbow and then fleeing the scene. There were reports that their 2 year-old child was inside the home during the time of the incident and that Solis had weapons. When the SWAT team entered the home they did find the child unharmed but Solis was nowhere to be found. Solis is currently wanted in connection with the family violence case as well as evading arrest. Police are asking that if you have any information on his whereabouts to call 956.216.5400.
