Thursday marked the 60th Annual National Prayer Day throughout the nation and in Harlingen people gathered at the Iwo Jima Memorial gathered for a moment of prayer.

Several people gave thanks and prayed for our local, state and government officials and many war veterans made it a point to come out and pray along side with them. Many prayed and gave thanks to the country that's given them so much over the years.
