A Harlingen woman arrested not once but twice for dozens of traffic warrants went back to court on Friday.
Valarie Sanchez has a total of 49 charges to traffic violations that have tallied up to more than $15,000 dollars. On Friday the judge and Sanchez worked out how she will pay that amount by serving 349 hours of community service in place of paying $4,000 dollars in fines. She also got about $2,000 dollars knocked off for serving 10 days in jail.
She now owes a balance of $10,000 dollars and the judge will make her pay $200 dollars a month.
