HARLINGEN - The Harlingen Police Department was recently awarded four U-S Army vehicles. The Department Received these vehicles as part of a Military surplus program.

The program is geared at reallocating surplus equipment to law enforcement agencies. These vehicles will assist police in various tasks from drug interdiction efforts to evacuating flood victims.
