Hanna High School Host World Down Syndrome Ceremony

Students and faculty at Hanna High School celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with a commemorative ceremony of releasing birds at exactly 3:21 PM because those affected by Down Syndrome are born with three copies of the human chromosome 21 instead of the usual two.

The event was organized by Down by the Border organization which is dedicated to helping special needs children. Hanna high school was chosen for the event because of it's success in boosting special needs students.
