BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — The cities of Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico celebrated their alliance over the years at the annual Hands Across the Border event held at the Gateway International bridge where both countries met at the middle of the bridge.

Mr. Amigo, Mexican actor  and actress Eduardo Yáñez and Pilar Montenegro were on hand at the event and both stars were presented at the ceremony. The mayors of both cities also attended the event exchanging gifts to each other.
