Gun Fired at School Reported Stolen from Mission Police Chief

You may recall a teenager discharged a gun at the school and that 16 year-old has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm.

It turns out the weapon had been stolen last month from the Mission police department and the gun had been issued to Mission Police Chief Leo Longoria. The chief says his undercover vehicle had been broken into and the gun stolen on August 4th. It is not known how the teenager got possession of the stolen gun.
