LA HAVANA - The Border Patrol agency has not yet released details on a reported skirmish on Thursday evening along the river in La Havana located between Sullivan City and La Joya.

At  around 5 PM, DPS troopers joined Border Patrol agents in responding to reports of a possible gun battle. Helicopters and ATV's were dispatched during a search for individuals involved in the gun fight. Agents did report that one subject was in custody and taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. The case has now been turned over to the FBI investigators.
