Hidalgo County Sheriff deputies continue to investigate how a potential explosive device ended up at a Edinburg business.

The explosive device turned out to be a dud grenade when the pin on the grenade was removed and did not explode. A woman found the grenade at a business on Texas and Tower road and quickly notified a deputy who was conducting a routine traffic stop.
