Low bridge rips holes in roof of vehicle.

A tour bus promoting racy reality show "Girls Gone Wild: Hottest Girl in America" is going topless thanks to an infamous Ohio bridge known as "The Can Opener".

The tour bus was the latest vehicle to suffer damage while traveling under the Central Avenue underpass in Delaware, Ohio.

The bus was in Delaware Tuesday night for a taping of a reality show at the Last Resort Bar.

Five rooftop air conditioners were knocked off the bus when it drove under the bridge.

City Spokesperson Lee Yoakum says there are about four crashes per year at the bridge.

Yoakum said there are blinking signs about a mile from each side of the bridge to warn drivers about the clearance of 12 feet 7 inches, but the drivers still miss the signage.

The tour bus driver said it was raining so hard that he wasn't able to see the sign.

"We hear it all the time...either raise the bridge or you lower the roadway. Raising the bridge would be tens of millions of dollars. Lowering the roadway would be equally expensive," Yoakum says.

In the past the city has installed more signs and raised the fine for nonclearance to $1,000.

"In 2006, city council saw this as an issue and added strength to our fines, increased fines for vehicles that strike the bridge. We added additional signage since then. We've had about four per year since that time. We've had about 20 times this ting has been struck," Yoakum said.
