BROWNSVILLE - Girl Scout Troop 1067 lent a helping hand to those in need by donating clothes to the Texas Tip Family Outreach Center for children.

One Girl Scout stated, "A lot of people in Brownsville are in need of clothing, a new warm coat, new socks, some jammies and blue jeans. I feel happy we are giving to people who are needy. When people don't help it makes me sad, but when I did it, I felt really happy."

The Family Outreach Center helps more than 5,000 children with clothing and non-perishable food items every year.
