General Motors Recall Thousands of SUV's
General Motors is recalling nearly 250 thousand SUVs due to a fire risk.
According to documents posted on the national highway traffic safety administration website, the vehicles could have a short circuit in the power window and lock controls in the drivers door that can result in a fire.
The recall covers 2006 and 2007 models of the Chevy Trailblazer, Buick Rainer, GMC envoy, Saab 9-7x, and isuzu Ascender.
G-M says salty water from road salt can cause corrosion leading to a short circuit.
