Our gas price survey shows it is getting a little more affordable to drive every day.
In the Valley, the price at the pump has dropped more than a dime over just last week. Our average now is $1.78 and it can be found for much less in other area's. Across Texas, AAA reports a gallon costs about half what it cost just 4 months ago. The state price average is close to $2 dollars and across the country the average now is $2.17. That is down .16 cents in Texas, in the middle of July, we were paying $3.98 a gallon.
