Gas prices in Texas are up .13 cents over the past week with the most expensive in Dallas at $3.68 per gallon.

The Motor Club says their survey shows the price is at the point where motorists will severely cut back on their travel plans. Texas is just .34 cents away from the all time high price of $3.98 per gallon set in July of 2008. Our exclusive survey of local gas prices also shows a giant double digit increase with motorist paying .16 cents more than last Thursday. The average price per gallon now is $3.62 for unleaded gas and that price is .03 cents less than the state average.
