Former Sheriff Deputy Sentenced for Gun Smuggling

Jesus Longoria, a former Cameron County Sheriff Deputy, was sentenced to more than four years in prison on Tuesday.
He pleaded guilty to gun smuggling charges back in December of 2010 into Mexico while he worked at the Veterans and Gateway port of entries. An undercover operation by federal authorities lead to the arrest of Longoria.
