Food Bank study shows increase of services for families.

In an effort to come up with the best number of Valley families who go hungry each day, the Rio Grande Valley Food Bank conducted a study.

The Food Bank gathered the most recent yearly numbers, but Executive Director for the agency says there has been a large increase in the need for food in the last two years. There has also been a change in the people who need it the help. The study discovered more middle class families are needing help since many are unemployed.
