Tuesday was Flag Day and as they do every year, members of the Elks Lodge and local Boy Scout troops retired worn out American flags.

The two organizations gathered together and burned 22 flags outside the Elks Lodge on Central Boulevard by honoring our nation and it's achievement by retiring the flags and disposing them in a formal ceremony by burning the flags. The two groups say they look forward to honoring our nation through honorable flag burning again next year.
