Financial planner offers tips for staying fiscally fit during the New Year.
You’ve made your New Year’s resolutions - things like losing weight, eating right, and hitting the gym.
But what about your financial muscles?
As 2012 gets up and running, here are a few tips for what you need to do to improve your finances this year, courtesy of Miami financial planner Craig Weisman:
1) Make a plan.
2) Take care of basics like paying off your debt and sticking to a budget.
3) Put money away for retirement.
4) Be mindful of your credit card spending.
Weisman says that when it comes to your credit cards, do not fall into a trap and use them more than you can really afford.
