An apartment fire in Harlingen sent one man to the hospital. The fire broke out at a vacant complex on Thursday evening at the intersection of Ed Carey and Business 77.

Firefighters say a man, who was in the area at the time, was sent to the hospital after he complained of smoke inhalation. Fire investigators remained at the scene and continue to look into the cause of  the fire.
