Several fire departments from both Hidalgo and  Cameron county were needed to put out a large fire in Santa Rosa.

The Santa Rosa Fire Department, along with Harlingen and several other fire departments, were called to the Santa Rosa sugar mill on Wednesday afternoon. Ladder trucks from Harlingen were needed to put out the fire which officials say started from a tall pile of sugar.
