Fire At Tyco Plant In Harlingen

A fire at a Harlingen plant....causes employees to evacuate
tonight, Plant workers are thankful because of the the quick response by Harlingen firefighters....
Tyco Flow Control Plant workers were sent home early for the day, after a fire, forced them to evacuate.
Plant managers say, it could've been a lot worse.
It was Harlingen Firefighters, who saved the day, by responding within a matter of minutes, putting out the fire very quickly.
Crews came in with their two fire trucks.
Several Firefighters easily put out the blaze, which they say, started in the cafeteria, causing the roof to light up in flames.
Now parts of the roof are charred.
This Tyco Plant is located on East Harrison Avenue.
Plant Managers say, they are very thankful to the harlingen fire department, for coming so fast to put out the blaze.
Nobody was injured.
Firefighters continue to investigate how the fire started.
