Federal Documents Unsealed in Limas Case

Former State District Judge Abel Limas was part of an illegal racketeering enterprise, allegedly soliciting and taking bribes in return for favorable judicial action.

It's according to newly unsealed federal documents and Limas has already pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering. He also admitted to receiving more than a quarter million dollars in a two year span through his racketeering enterprise and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
