Federal Court Rejects New Texas Voter Photo ID Law
VALLEY - As of now, it's looking like voters will not have to show government issued photo IDs in the upcoming presidential election. A Federal appeals court in Washington has again struck down the Texas voters ID law calling it racially discriminatory. Texas attorney general, Greg Abbot says the state will appeal the ruling. But will it change anything by election day, November sixth?
The Federal voting rights act requires change in Texas voting laws to be pre cleared by the US Justice Department.
