FBI Investigating Assault on Border Patrol Agent

The FBI and Border Patrol agents continue to investigate for more information that will lead to an arrest of the individuals responsible for an attack on  a Border Patrol agent.

They are offering a $25,000 dollar reward has been posted for any information leading to an arrest or conviction on this crime. The agent was conducting a traffic stop when a 2003 Jeep Cherokee sped away and drove into the Rio Grande river. The suspect fled on foot, but when the officer arrived he was severely assaulted by a group of individuals. All of the suspects fled back into Mexico.
