MISSION - Two Mission Police officers are under FBI investigation.

In a press conference late Wednesday night, Mission Police Chief Martin Garza addressed the media on preliminary information surrounding the investigation.

Garza would not release the names of the two officers, only saying that they were not patrol officers. The men are considered specialized investigators and worked on narcotics-type cases. Currently, both men have been placed on suspension.

Garza said he is cooperating fully with the FBI's investigation and has already turned over several documents and other items.

News Center 23 tried to reach out to the FBI last night.
