Kansas Pharmacy Board bans four compounds used in synthetic marijuana blends.

The Kansas State Board of Pharmacy has added four chemicals used in popular "synthetic marijuana" blends to a list of temporarily illegal drugs.

The chemicals banned are also sometimes used in bath salts that some have been using to get high.

Kansas lawmakers are currently working on a permanent ban.
