MISSION, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — Sheriff deputies are investigating an assault of a father attacking his 17 year-old son with a machete at a home on Moorefield road. The father is accused by the son of striking him on the leg with the machete after both subjects got into a heated argument. The son was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries his father was arrested and police are searching for the weapon that was used in the assault.
