A long list of Farm to Market roads are now open to traffic after being submerged by floodwaters from Hurricane Alex. When the floodways were filled to drain hurricane water from the Rio Grande river, many motorists had to take detours. One of those roads was FM 1015  which is now water free and a big relief for resident Juan De Leon who lives near the road. There are only three roads in Hidalgo county that are listed as still closed, FM 907, 493 and 2557.
