Farenthold Speaks Publicly About Recount

U.S. Congressman Elect Blake Farenthold spoke publicly about former congressman Solomon Ortiz's bid to request a recount.
The congressman elect, who beat Ortiz for District 27 by 792 votes, was in San Benito on Thursday and was very clear on his disapproval of the recount.
" All provisional have been counted, the military, never in the history of a congressional district was 797 votes been overturned. Now we are fooling around, wasting time, it's getting to the point where its going to interfere with how I am representing the people of South Texas. I need to be working on committee assignments, get up to speed not messing around with lawyers and re-counts."
The congressman elect says he's formed his transition team made of individuals from Brownsville to Corpus Christi.
