An Edinburg man was arrested and charged with indecency with a child on Tuesday.

Police say 30 year-old Jose Martinez committed sexual acts with a 14 year-old female relative a couple of weeks ago. Police say Martinez took the young girl to a motel where the illegal acts allegedly occurred. Police along with Child Protective Services were able to locate the man and arrested Martinez.
