Make-A-Wish 7-year-old triggers grain silo implosion.

The ground shook from an explosion over the weekend in the northern Ohio city of Huron as
a city-owned grain mill was demolished to pave the way for new development along the river front.

Blowing up the building turned out to be a wish come true.

Unlike the other onlookers who snapped some photos, 7-year-old Maxwell Hinton was poised for a special honor.

He would pull the switch and launch the explosion.

It was a request the young cancer patient made with the "Make-A-Wish" foundation.

"I watch 'Myth Busters', and they inspired me to want to blow up a building," he explained.

Suffering from neuro-blastoma, a cancer of the nerve tissue, this little boy had a big wish.

When the moment arrived, the historic buildings were history, and cheers from the crowd arose with the dust.

"I had a great time," Maxwell said afterward.
