The health insurance deadline is fast approaching and if you aren't covered by the end of the month, you could face a fine from the U.S. government.

Enroll America has a bus tour which stopped at the McAllen library on Wednesday to help individuals sign up for the Affordable Care Act.

There will be people at the library for the rest of the month to enroll those individuals, Enroll America President Anne Filipic commented about the tour in Texas stating, "Texas is one of the highest rates of the uninsured in the country and even though we know that nearly 300,000 people have already enrolled in health insurance. There are millions of people that still stand to benefit and that's certainly true in McAllen specifically."

If you decide to get enrolled into the Affordable Care Act you will need to know your household income and take up about an hour of your time.
