Students and faculty at Romulo Martinez Elementary were temporary placed in a lockdown on Tuesday morning as law enforcement searched for three illegal immigrants.

Police report that three immigrants ran from a routine traffic stop and headed into a field across from the school. One of the immigrants was treated for dehydration and the other two were detained. Police say the lockdown was just a precautionary measure for the safety of the students and staff.
