As the time nears to start filing for your income tax returns there might be a slight hold up regarding the return date.

The Internal Revenue Service recently announced that some refunds may be belayed up to two weeks. This only applies to people who have filed their taxes electronically and have requested that their refund be deposited electronically into their bank account. The IRS is increasing security measures against fraud which means some tax refunds will face additional screening and review before they are released.
