The Valley is home to a vast variety of wildlife, including some species that can only be seen in this area! A variety of birds, insects, arachnids, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and even critters as small as macro-invertebrates living in ponds can be found within different areas along the Valley, making our place an incredible world full of discovery and wonder!

In RGV Wildlife, participants will get a glimpse of various species of wildlife present in the RGV, and how they are so important to our ecosystem. Learn about insects such as butterflies and dragonflies, mammals such as the bobcats and coyotes, and birds such as the kingfishers and egrets that call the RGV home! This presentation will introduce participants to the wonderful world of our wildlife, and ignite the spark to encourage participants to go out and learn all about it!

Register early for this family friendly program! “RGV Wildlife” will take place on Saturday, Aug. 3rd from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Fees are regular admission: $3 adults, $2 children, seniors & students, and children under 5 & EWBC members free.
