An Edinburg mother is facing additional child endangerment charges after her 3 year-old daughter was found in the middle of the street.

Catarina Torres is charged with child endangerment and it has been reported she was on probation for a previous child endangerment charge.

Police received calls at about 1 a.m. on Saturday about a small child wandering in the street. The 3 year-old girl was found near the intersection of 26th and Fay Street.

She was brought to the police station unharmed and hours later Torres was reportedly looking for her daughter at the same intersection.
