Edinburg elementary school placed in lockdown

An Edinburg school faced a lockdown on Wednesday afternoon after some immigrants ran from Border Patrol agents.

Guerra Elementary was never in danger, officials say, a DPS helicopter flew over the area to help with the capture of dozens of immigrants.

Authorities cleared the scene and the lockdown was lifted shortly afterward.
