Early voting has come to an end for the run-off election in Cameron county and the last to vote is Tuesday.

Two commissioner seats are at stake for the Brownsville city commission for District 4 and At-Large-A. In the District 4 race Tony Zaveleta and John Villarreal are vying for the seat and in the At-Large-A race it's between Estella Chavez Vasquez and Robert Lopez. Election day will be on Saturday June 18th.

I have a question. Comm. Camarrillo was running for Mayor, wouldn't his seat have become vacant and for someone to run for his seat? and if so why is he still commissioner?
