A police officer in Texas is facing charges after being accused of sexual assault.  A woman says the officer attacked her during a traffic stop. Now, the Chief of Police in San Antonio is reacting to the charges, Jessie Degollado has more.

Chief William McManus, San Antonio Police, "Obviously, we don't tolerate it, and I'm outraged by it. I'm stunned by it."

An eleven-year veteran, 40 year-old Jackie Len Neal, is charged with the sexual assault of a 19 year-old woman while handcuffed during a traffic stop.

She told police his unit began following her vehicle at Zarzamora and Hutchins for a few blocks, until she pulled over on Betty Road where the victim says she was groped and then sexually assaulted, outside by the trunk of his marked unit.

Although the on-board cameras were not working, the location was confirmed by the officer's GPS in his vehicle that showed he was stopped here for 18 minutes.

The Chief says officers know they're being tracked, yet Neal also apparently did nothing to conceal his identity, "I can't make any sense of it, can't make any sense of it at all."

He says a woman had made another outcry against Neal a couple of years ago under similar circumstances, then refused to cooperate, but the Chief says investigators will try again, "Given what we have now, I don't know how that will work out, but I am going to ask that we do that."
