Duck in Danger
Animal control tries to capture duck that's had fishing bobber stuck to its beak for a month.
A little duck with a big problem is on the run in Taylor, Michigan.
The duck, which lives at Taylor's Heritage Park, has had a fishing bobber stuck in its beak for over a month.
Heritage Park is a catch-and-release pond, so fishing is allowed, but after this incident it may not be.
The duck doesn't appear to be in considerable pain, according to Taylor Animal Control, but officers are concerned the situation could go from bad to worse.
"It's going to be a very difficult process here to move the stuff. We're going to have to get a boat out here after hours to try and net him when there's no people here and the park is closed," says Taylor Animal Control Officer John Grove.
"He's been suffering out there. I haven't seen him but I've heard him out here. I feel sorry for him," adds frequent park visitor Sylvia Ellington.
The Taylor Animal Control has tried to rescue the duck, but he was just too quick.
