A woman in Harlingen set her car of fire this weekend when she crashed it into a gasoline pump.
It happened Sunday at Stripes on Ed Carey and 23rd street and the crash caused the gas pump to burst into flames and damaged a natural gas meter. According to fire officials the woman veered across four lanes through the gas station driveway, hit a pump and also ran into a clinic. The driver and her young son made it out safely before the car caught on fire.
Doctors had to treat the woman for a cut on her head and police are not saying if they will cite her for any traffic violations.
