HARLINGEN — A Raymondville man was arrested in Harlingen this week after police report that he fled the scene of an accident while intoxicated.

Police say 30 year-old Francisco Garcia was involved in an accident at the intersection of Sunshine strip  and Industrial Boulevard. Garcia struck the victim's vehicle and then drove off, but police were able to locate Garcia and arrested him after he failed a breathalyzer test. Garcia was charged with intoxicated assault which is a third degree felony.
