DPS troopers out in force for Labor Day weekend.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is warning all drivers to buckle up and not drink and drive over the Labor Day weekend.

DPS says all troopers will be on duty through the holiday looking for drunk drivers, speeders and seat belt violators. A new Texas law, which took in effect on Monday requires all passengers to wear a seat belt, no matter their age or location in the vehicle.
