Dozens ticketed for running in closed national park
Valley Forge, PA — The government shutdown is entering it's third week on Monday and Americans are getting angrier and angrier about it.
In Pennsylvania, dozens of people participated in a protest run through Valley Forge National Historic Park Sunday.
Organizers staged the event after runners were ticketed for jogging through the closed park, near Philadelphia.
The tickets for $100 a pop are for allegedly violating the closure order and parking in the popular park.
Several running groups took part in what some called a "Patriot Run" to call attention to the shutdown.
