A Donna home is a crime scene after it was the target of a home invasion.

Up to ten people riding in two cars ran and allegedly were looking for marijuana from the home's occupants.

"They indicated that several armed men with masks had gone to the residence, yelling 'where's the dope,' in Spanish," Lt. Rick Suarez of the Donna Police Dept. said.  "While officers were investigating the crime scene, they were able to recover 3.9 lbs of marijuana."

And the people inside were outnumbered in the attack.

"There was about 7-8 people inside the house," Suarez said. "One of the victims inside the house I believe was kicked in the back of the head.  Causing his mouth to hit the floor and I believe he lost a couple of teeth."

The perepetrators burned one of their getaway vehicles on the way out of town.  Police found 20 pounds of charred marijuana inside.  No suspects have been caught yet.  But one of the victims, 18-year-old Adonis Garcia, is facing a possession charge for the marijuana found inside the home.

"He took the blame for the marijuana therefore, he was charged with it," Suarez said.
