Dog Finds Body Part, Leads Police to Body in Mission

 Police with the assistance of Border Patrol have located the body of an unknown male in a brushy area in Mission. They found the body with the use of a cadaver dog. A call came in at 8:30 a.m. from a resident on carter road just off conway.

The owners called police because their dog was chewing on a human arm in their front yard. Mission Police called in their crime scene unit to investigate the scene. Border Patrol sent out their K9 cadaver team to help search for the rest of the body. Within a few hours it was found.
The body was found in a brushy area with tall grass, about maybe two feet. Mission Police say the body was mostly intact with the exception of the arm and the internal organs.
Police say it appears to be an adult, a young adult male. They  are going to be looking at various and any missing persons report not only in Mission but throughout the valley.
a neighbor to the owner of the dog that found the arm says she is very concerned... and wonders who this unknown male really is.
An autopsy will mostly likely be conducted on the body this evening in hopes to further identify the cause of death and an identity.
