The Texas Rangers will be taking a look at the paperwork in the recount of the Cameron County Judge race.

The Cameron County District Attorney says they have forwarded the affidavits from Cascos to the Texas Rangers for review. The DA says they have not changed their position that this is not a criminal matter but did add this statement.
" I think that an important step in restoring public confidence in the process is to have an outside independent review of any alleged behavior. We look forward to working with the Texas Rangers on this matter."
