Pennsylvania town considers anti-discrimination ordinance after lesbian couple is turned away from bridal shop. Brittany Sweeney reports.

(WBRE) An incident involving a bridal boutique and a lesbian couple is prompting change in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

WW Bridal Boutique on Market Street turned a way a same-sex couple earlier this month. Now, people in Bloomsburg want to ban what they call discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender community.

When local business owner and member of the Democratic State Committee Dwayne Heisler heard what happened, he didn't hesitate to bring up a proposed ordinance to Bloomsburg Town Council.

"I believe that it's so important that the town actually recognize all of its citizens, including the LGBT community," Heisler said.
