Detectives issue arrest warrant for owner of downtown business

Brownsville police have issued an arrest warrant for the owner, of a downtown store, that customers have reported paying for formal dresses and receiving neither the finished product or their return of their money.

Detectives have issued theft warrants for Juana Alejandara Mascorro, owner of Ceci's Fashion on the 1100 block of E. Levee Street, after making arraignments with customers for the delivery of wedding and quincanera dresses and not full filling their orders or returning their money.

Police have been unable to locate Mascorro at her known address or place of business. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Detective Division at 956.548.7060 or Brownsville Crime Stoppers at 956.546.8477.
